Possible to create a folder during session sync?

Postby tracypar » Mon May 03, 2010 7:42 pm

Hi there:

I'd like to use this product to run an offsite backup of a server to my desktop. I would like to keep multiple days of the backup and it would be convenient if I could set the sync to create a new folder with a unique name on the desktop as part of the sync process, ie. something that would say local file c://username/desktop/backup/(create backup file with unique name).

Does anyone know if this is possible?

Thanks!

To create a local folder prior to execution of a task session, use Task Settings \ Run Programs \ Before task option. You can write a simple batch script to create the local folder and then supply the path to this script in this field.
